PAZZI CHAPEL
FLORENCE, ITALY

 BUILT - ABOUT 1442
ARCHITECT
- FILIPPO BRUNELLESCHI

Brunelleschi designed the Pazzi Chapel as materialized geometry. His composition of lines of dark stone against white stucco integrates exterior and interior spaces. This structuring, however, cannot be seen in separate photographs, only when combined, like in one's memory. Multiple images of walls reveal these complex relationships of form.
